Eryk is a seasoned senior business executive and strategy consultant, with a legal background and past public service experience. He has been in the energy industry for over two decades, primarily focusing on renewable energy, energy storage systems, and infrastructure projects. His track record demonstrates his ability to lead significant infrastructure projects, manage strategic portfolios, and drive business transformation in the complex and everchanging energy market.
As the Chairman of the Board at Renegia Capital, Eryk’s role involves designing service stacks for BESS assets to optimise their performance and maximise their value. He is responsible for formulating and implementing market strategies to position BESS assets effectively and capitalise on emerging market opportunities. His extensive knowledge and confident approach enable him to navigate through the challenges of regulatory risk, market design and locational aspects. This ensures that the solutions delivered are tailored to the specific needs of each project.
Eryk’s mission is to use his expertise and vision to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of Renegia’s business. Before joining Renegia, Eryk served as the President & CEO of the Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A, the Polish transmission system operator, for seven years.

Specialist in energy storage at NRG Project sp. z o.o., he has been actively involved in the development of green energy in Poland since 2008. In that year, he played an active role in organizing the 14th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – COP 14 in Poznań. He graduated from the University of Economics in Poznań, and later from Nottingham Business School, where in 2013 he defended his thesis on the construction of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea by international joint venture entities. Since 2013, he has been associated with entities producing energy and developing renewable energy projects. Currently, he is involved in hybrid installation projects, photovoltaic installations with energy storage, and innovative hydrogen projects. His client portfolio features prominent European energy players such as KGHM, TAURON, ENEA, APATOR, among others.
